Congratulations new members!

On Wednesday, May 7th, our newest members completed session six – the final in our orientation series.  They participated in medical and trauma drills, each designed to test their skills as crew members.  Finally, an enthusiastic rig relay competition rounded out the evening, with impressive performances from both teams.

Special thanks to Alex Williams for her work in developing and coordinating the orientation program. We welcome our newest members and thank them for their commitment to KBHVAC and to their community.  Congratulations to all!

Your continued generosity will help us save lives…

The Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance is the sole provider of emergency ambulance service for the Katonah and Bedford Hills fire districts.  We cover large sections of i-684 and the Saw Mill River Parkway and provide mutual aid to surrounding communities as well.  2013 marks 50 years of service to our community.

The needs of our community have grown and continue to grow.  The corps has grown along with it by an increase in membership.  We are proudly one hundred members strong, responding to over 900 calls this year.  We have modernized our equipment and facility to meet these demands of growth but the cost of maintaining our equipment, facility, and improving technology requires an ongoing flow of funds to finance these efforts.

We rely heavily on contributions from the public to allow our all-volunteer Corps to provide emergency medical service to our community, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.   Donate online or send a check to PO Box 43, Katonah, NY 10536.

Your continued generosity will help us save lives; thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Nancy Speidell
President
